Gmail Tasks Has A Direct Link
March 17, 2009
Stumbled upon a direct link that pulls up Gmail Tasks onto its own page. Worked on Google Chrome Beta 2.0, so I wonder if it works on other browsers as well.
Here’s the link:
If you’re using Google Apps for your domain, here’s another link:
(Substitute “YOURDOMAIN.COM” with the correct Google Apps domain)

Also works on the iPhone and Android browsers as well.

Thank you!!! I use Google Apps for domains and found that the “pop-out” for tasks was not working so I could only view a few tasks at a time. The URL you provided allows me to view a full page of tasks at a time.

Wow, thanks for the tip! I find it frustrating to use as a sidebar in gmail or igoogle because my task list is too long. This might actually make google tasks useful for me!

Thank you PG and thanks anon for your investigative triumph!
The gmail / gcal / homepage web interfaces are far too small and fiddly, and the mobile sites don’t allow reordering.
This is much better.

does anybody know a direct link to a specific list?

Doesn’t seem as if there’s a way to go to a specific list, at least from a quick look / experiment with the URL address showing in the address bar. Hmm.

Don’t try to delete lists in it, dashboard can’t handle the popups and it’ll go all funky.
