A tilt or flex wall mount can be purchased for about $20, and most make it easy to install/uninstall a small unit like the VPAD. Could probably be modified to fit an old desk lamp base, too….

That’s an exorbitant amount considering the VPAD itself is $99. Shoot, this mount actually costs .99 cents MORE than the VPAD.

Everyone has to make money, but this isn’t the way to do it.

One suggestion for a product. Make a telescoping mount so that it can become a floor stand as well.
