Bridge to Terabithia is banned?!?!?!?! That is my absolute favorite childhood book. I remember reading it in 6th grade... cried my eyes out at the end... but still a great book. These and others mentioned here are excellent books. Go ask Alice is a sobering book, even though it was determined it wasn't written as a teenager as originally claimed. It's disquieting to see the list of tbe banned books getting longer and longer as time passes.
