Photobucket has been acquired by Fox Interactive

Photobucket just announced that it has been acquired by Fox Interactive Media, a division of News Corporation. I’ve been using Photobucket since the inception of this blog (a mere couple months) for the hosting of nearly all the images on this blog, so I’m watching this acquisition with interest. Wonder if there’d be more changes in store for Photobucket. News Corp. also owns MySpace, and since MySpace users store a huge amount of photos on Photobucket, it’s possible the two may become more unified in the future.
