A much better online TV guide

Want to find out what time “Through Deaf Eyes” air in your area? Desperate to know if this Sunday’s “Desperate Housewives” episode is not (dangit!) a repeat? Tired of constantly clicking back and forth via Yahoo TV or TV Guide?
I strongly recommend Couchville.
It has a fantastic interface where you only need to drag up / down to see other channels, or left / right to see what is airing later (or earlier). Very easy to use, very intuitive. It’s easy to set it up — it asks for your zip, then whether you’re using cable or satellite or whatever, then it lists the providers for you to pick. And you can later customize which channels show up in the listings. And then Couchville remembers these settings from now on in your browser — so you’re able to type www.couchville.com and get exactly what you need anytime. Very, very convenient.
[Added at 1:15pm - thanks, bbraunig:] Couchville also has a very easy search function where you can just search for the show’s name and quickly get the information you need on showtimes and channels. What makes this feature even more amazing is that as you type a few letters or words, a list of possible matches appear. Just typing “Deaf” brings a list of episodes with “Deaf” anywhere in the title. Wow. Also a nice feature is the “Buzz” page where you see the latest and hottest episodes coming up. Finally, click on a title anywhere on the main listing grid to get more specific information that show on the right side of the screen.
And don’t forget to watch “Through Deaf Eyes” tonight!

I would like to add that you can find additional airings through the search function (search for the show’s name).
Belle
P.S. I really like your blog – easy on the eyes and informative! Thank you!

I using Couchville.com for last two weeks, I find it very useful interactive than tvguide.com and tv.yahoo.com.
One negative is every time I clean my cookies/history, I have to do it start over again. I lost my favorite list and few others but I still using couchville no matter what. Whoo!

Cool blog! Thanks for the tip. And may I recommend http://www.flixster.com – it’s such a cool site for movie fans.
Oh–and I saw “Through Deaf Eyes”. It was so good! I learned so much, I only wish I would have learned about this sooner.
